Over The Edge
A thought travels through an eerie mind
Through a path with a weary distance
Tiring the thought as it passes in thick blood
Retrieving all its strength to get through such resistance
Shall it find its passageway
Can the damage really appear
For thoughts approaching, absorbing this destination
Will open many eyes, will open much fear
This is not a sane thought
For it brings with it too much hate
And if it reaches the line of action
For the hearts and minds of many, it may be too late
It brings with it a vengeance
Revenge that ten men can do unto others
It won’t matter who’s around when it hits
For it can splatter unknowns, neighbors, sisters, brothers
It comes with a flair for insanity
It leaves the brain with a reckless train of thought
Scary thing is, after all is said and done, he doesn’t know
He doesn’t care about the tracks of blood from his onslaught
Find this man help, retrieve him a new conscience
Search deep within his soul and rip out his pain
You people must listen to his feelings
For it is you who will suffer when he goes insane
If you turn away from what he offers
If you doubt and criticize what he has to say
It is he who will have the last laugh
When he captures you heart and blows your head away
