Life and Death
Death does not make life over
Yet brings forth more meaning toward life
Death surrounds the mind
Where life surrounds the meaning of death
Therefore, the value of death
Make the meaning of life understandable
If life were to go on forever
Death would no longer have meaning
And without death to bring out the good qualities in life
Why would we want to live forever?

Introduction to Life and Death
Let us face it, sometimes we are out of our minds when we sit down to write something poetic. Entering my final years in college I was getting a little too relaxed in my studies, and quite honestly, a little too high on a fairly regular basis. I still cannot imagine how I graduated. Regardless, next week’s poem is simply one I just won’t be able to explain. There are times when I read it and I say, “Well that makes sense,” and then there are times where I say, “huh???” In any case, if you can figure out what it means, I encourage you to suggest what I may have been thinking at the time.
