The Dreams Resolution
As he stares deep into her eyes
He sees a light which he’s yet to ever see
Its rays tend to reflect upon many feelings
Presenting a magnificent rainbow seen only by he
He longs to carry this rainbow everywhere
He never wants to interfere with its design
He only wants to add to its arrangement
To be warmed by its radiant sunshine
Strive, as he will effortlessly, to achieve a harmony
He’ll venture through the rainbows peaceful existence
So that the light he sees in her shadowed eyes
Will reflect a binding of color to narrow their distance
He wants to be a mirror to reflect from
He wants her to glance at him from time to time
Wanting her not only to see her own true beauty
But enabling him to hold the image of her in mind
For he knows this image has enhanced his life
Wanting only to give this joyous feeling back
He will stop at nothing to deliver this message
Of caring and sharing he yearns to fulfill in her eyes so black
So embrace his hands for this fantastic journey
Through the many adventures of an unsuspecting night
For when her eyes appear too dark to see
His promise of willing eyes shall lead them both into the light

Introduction to The Dreams Resolution
So here she is, the woman of my dreams. I guess I will name her Kathy for that is her real name. It was not love at first sight because I have known her for many years through the friendship she had with my sister. Suddenly, at the age of 29 I was old enough to break down the 2 year older barrier she had set in her mind as an issue. Regardless, she was everything I wanted in a woman, smart, beautiful, confident and forgiving. Forgiving because I was going through a rough patch in my life and she helped me through as I battled certain addictions. With all that said, Kathy’s birthday was upcoming, her first one for me anyway, and the pressure was on to give her something special. I hope you find next weeks’ poem to be a present you would want to give to the love of your life.

Valentine’s Day Love
Vows to love, for each one to say
A boy, a girl, to share this day
Life’s sacrifice of hearts
Each swearing no departs
Never letting their dreams drift away
Two brace on, holding together strong
In one small breath, they cling to belong
Now that perfect kiss
Each promising bliss
Sweet love will last so long
Deepening their understanding of what the day is for
Alone in their minds, for others they’ll ignore
Your heart in mine I’ll hold for evermore
Love that was never
One unjustly
Valentine’s Day
Endeavor
I GIVE YOU MY HEART FOREVER

Introduction to Valentines Day Love
This would wind up being the last poem I wrote in college for an ex girlfriend. I did not put a lot of effort into this next one only because – as we all do from time to time – we wait for the last minute to come up with a gift. Cannot recall if this poem did me any good that evening but, nonetheless, I can only hope that it can do well for you one day if needed for a girl you are looking to impress. Anyways, hope you enjoy it and look forward to seeing this on a card one day.

The Dreams Destiny
Staring across the room
A beauty yet to behold
A decision to be made
Is a new relationship about to unfold?
Get an early feeling
Something strong
Your heart starts pounding
Is something wrong?
There is a becoming
Of a strange emotion
Do you want to move in
On this awkward notion?
You inch your way over
Preparing this new start
It has to be perfect
So they might never part
She glances at you
A knot starts somewhere down inside
You feel like running away
But you know there is nowhere to hide
As you drew near
And the words ushered through
She responds in kind
To relieve the burden felt deep inside you
You kept your cool
You played your cards right
It appears you’ve made that first line
Last the Whole Night!

Introduction to The Dreams Destiny
So continuing on in my college days I knew that some girl was to come along that would give me the feeling that love at first sight may actually exist. While standing in a bar, not too many drinks in me at the time, I saw this girl standing on the other side of the room that I could not look away from. As I realized that the pressure was on me to make the first move, all I could think of was that I had one chance to make an impression.
Next week’s new poem walks you through the anxiety I had when I thought I had met the “one”. For others, as in this case for me, the first “one” is normally never the right “one”. But I will say that practice makes perfect and, as rare as I had this feeling in my lifetime, it was still good to work on perfecting my words for when the right “one” did come along. It gave me the confidence necessary to overcome my fears when I finally did find my true “one”.

The Dream
As a young boy I had a dream
A dream that was held for years
Being 21 and with my teens gone
This dream was turning to fears
I had sought the Perfect Woman
And had put forth many a ship for sail
So with the experiences I had gained
I would have bet my dream to fail
In my dream I had wanted a woman
A woman who possessed beauty inside and out
A woman with sheer confidence in herself
A woman that left me no doubt
In my dream she had to be pretty
But even she new nothing of it
She had to be charming and elegant
With a contagious sense of wit
In my dream she had to laugh
Even at things that were dumb
She had to make the boring times
Appear to be so much fun
In my dream she had to cry
When things were going bad
She had to hold me
When things for me were sad
And in my 21st year of dreams
I was accompanied by something new
The vision of this perfect girl
Who I have come to learn as you

Introduction to The Dream
You know college days are generally where you really believe that love can exist. I mean high school sweethearts are one thing, but the girls you meet in college can actually change your belief that you may want to truly share your life with someone else.
I can honestly tell you that my high school days were nothing to write home about. College gave me the excitement I had been longing for all my life. The friendships I enjoyed, the girlfriends I had relationships with, made me realize that school was just one piece of the puzzle to fulfill a life.
The upcoming poem describes the pressure I felt in meeting another piece of the puzzle and, in reality, describes my belief in what a relationship should be about. I hope you enjoy it and certainly would not be surprised, if you are in college, that you may envision this poem as your own dream.
